The Importance of Data Logging
It is essential for the PV professional to know their client’s exact electrical and energy requirements before designing a PV system. You will be able to monitor and record various electrical energy, demand and quality values to be able to perform an accurate needs analysis assessment for your customer. This data can then be used to accurately design and size any PV or battery powered plant whether the requirements are for grid-tied, off-grid or grid-support applications.
The raw electrical data is saved to a PC using a CSV format text file. The data can then be analysed and reports can be created in MS Excel using this data. Enerfx Solutions also offers a service where we can do the analysis and reporting for you at a minimal cost per report.
